Cola Beach- The Hidden Gem

It so happened one day that my friends began to talk about hidden beaches of Goa. They began talking about various other beaches which I had already visited. But then they started gossiping about this beach named cola. I was fascinated by its name and wished to visit it. My friends being so good to me made a plan to go there.
The cola beach is also known as “khola beach”. This is the name given by the locals. This beach is situated in Canacona in a remote area. It takes 20 minutes to reach Cola from Palolem beach and 10 minutes from Agonda beach. As we were about to reach the Cola beach I noticed that we have to take the mud road which will take us to the beach. But I think that quote saying “tough roads often take you to the most beautiful destination” is really true because as soon as we reached there, I felt like I was very close to nature and it felt like the environment is trying to take away all my fatigue, tensions and relax my heart and mind.
This beach is very silent and not much visitors are aware of this beach because not everyone except the locals or the tourists who have already visited the place before know about it. As soon as I entered the beach it felt like the whole beach is mine. Less visitors create this feeling on beach, which gave me the freedom to do whatever I wish to. I knew that we would feel hungry. We had carried our lunch boxes with us , hence we didn’t feel the need to search for hotels.
Overall I would say that the Cola beach is really a place worth visiting if you’re come for a relaxing holiday in Goa. One can also enjoy off-roading or try a photo shoot. But don’t forget to take your camera for awesome photos. I would also request the people reading this and planning to go to the Cola beach, please do not litter on the beach, as the beach is really very clean. Also be careful while going into the water. I would suggest not to go deep into the water if you don’t know to swim because there are no much visitors on this beach as it is a hidden one…
