Named after the nearest village, Mobor Beach was left unexplored till the 1980s. It is noteworthy that the beach was explored till 1980s. Before 1980s, Mobor beach was a barren stretch of land with a few huts. It was after the 1980s that it gained prominence due to the opening of a number of luxury hotels there.
When you keenly admire the Mobor Beach, it feels like the River Sal envelopes the beach and then joins the Arabian Sea.The sand dunes and the coconut palms that grow here add to the incandescent beauty of the place. The Sal River flows quietly on the other side to meet the Arabian Sea. There are cruises on the Sal, dolphin and bird tours.
I visited this beach in the month of march along with my friends. I wanted to know more about this place so I stepped into the Pearl beach café and found one guy, he was more willing to tell us. He said “Every year thousands of tourists come to the beach to indulge in water sports.
